This walking stick is made with a part of a stag antler as the handle. The antlers used are from either red deer or sika deer. The deer grow and shed a new set of antlers every year. The antlers are collected and then cut to make various shaped handles. The stick maker can usually get two or three handles out of a smallish antler. The height to the top of the handle is 91cm (36 Inches) but it can be shortened if required (just add the crop service to your order above and tell us the new height needed).
The tip has a metal ferrule on it so if you want a rubber ferrule to go over the top of this, please add it to your order above. We use a courier to send out all of our standard length walking sticks (including this one) as only the folding and height adjustable can be sent by Royal Mail because of their box length restrictions.
