This is a turned (smooth) maple wood shank with a brass collar and metal ferrule already attached with a 5mm diameter hole drilled in the top. The drilled hole is approximately 60mm deep. Suitable for making dress canes or walking sticks with a cast resin handle, metal plate handle or other clean finished handles.
