With the look of a stout piece of bamboo, this Derby walking stick is made of chestnut wood. It is strong and reliable with quite a large handle at 14cm wide. The chestnut wood shaft tapers from 21mm at the handle to 18mm at the tip and the stick's total height is 90cm (36 inches) to the top part of the handle, where the hand grips it. As it is made of wood, this stick can be cut shorter if needed. Just add the cropping service to your order and tell us the new total height needed.
Like the majority of our wooden sticks, this one weighs only 300 grams. The Derby handle is the most popular choice of handle we sell.
Finished with a brass collar around the neck and a rubber ferrule covering the tip. If you would prefer a metal ferrule, please just ask us by email or phone and we will fit one for you free of charge.
