The height to the top of the handle is 91cm (36 inches) but it can be shortened if required (just add the crop service to your order above and tell us the new height needed). The tip has a metal ferrule on it so if you want a rubber ferrule to go over the top of this, please add it to your order above. The diamter of the wooden shaft is 21mm at the handle end, tapering to 18mm at the end. The handle is made from resin and painted a red/brown to match the shaft. The stick is finished with a smart collar around the neck and weighs 400 grams. Most of our all wooden walking sticks weigh 300 grams. It is the resin handle which makes this stick a little heavier. Originally a shooting dog in Ireland, the Irish Setter (or Red Setter) is now more common in the show ring than in the field. With their glamorous good looks, high spirits and graceful movement, they are greatly admired and are among the most popular breeds in Britain today. They are usually red in colour but may also be red and white.
